Paris l’été 2018 festival - Projet Mosaïque
Introduction by Bertrand Alberge, January 2019.

The Projet Mosaïque had three goals:
- Create documentary resources on the Paris l’été 2018 festival..
- Achieve an artwork installation in the Jacques Decour school (Paris 10th) during the festival.
- Federate a group of photographers by an uninhibited photographic and artistic practice.
Through the workshop, I realized the virtue of a "short cycle", and it's effectiveness on each one of us achievements.
On a daily basis, the photographers covered the various festival events (shows, rehersals, installations...) in order to send a first selection of images.
On my side, a second selection was made, so as to achieve a next day printing & public exhibition through the artwork installation.
Once this process was set up, I felt the photographers relax, about technical issues, and on their internal limits.
Photographers revived their confidence in a merry potluck atmosphere, to re-experience the original pleasure of the photography: take a picture & show it to the world.
Straightforwardly !!!
